Hello and welcome to Perrin B Artistry! I'm Perrin Beatty.
I'm Perrin, founder of Perrin B Artistry. I am a Canadian artist with close ties to the West Coast, the Rockies, and the Prairies. I am deeply influenced by skyscapes, mountains, the ocean, prairie flowers, and overgrown gardens. I'm also a molecular biologist and science writer, and I love learning about the biological world!
I use a playful abstract realism style and colour palette in my paintings to experiment with movement, colour, light, and transitions. I work with acrylics, inks, natural pigment watercolours, cyanotype, and more. My goal is to bring art into people's lives as wall art, household products, and much more - the sky's the limit!
I also love to create digital art. I have recently collected my digital line art into a colouring book titled "CREATIVE COLORING, Florals and Flower Gardens: For Relaxation & Enjoyment." Yes, it's a long title :) The colouring book is published with Kindle Direct Publishing and available for purchase from Amazon.
Other things I love: my family, traveling, hiking, traveling AND hiking, and my beautiful Border Collie Kihei, who keeps me on track and grounded as best she can!
